Workshop in Memory of Prof. Mario I. Molina Transport and Localization in Discrete Systems

Prof. Mario I. Molina (1959 - 2026) was a prominent Chilean physicist and professor at the University of Chile.

The workshop will bring together colleagues working on topics closely related to the main directions of Prof. Molina's research:

  • Localized states in discrete lattices
  • Nonlinear optics
  • Wave transport in disordered systems
  • Scattering by impurities in optical networks
  • Discrete solitons and their stability
  • Energy and light manipulation in waveguide arrays
  • Parity-time (PT) symmetry in optical lattices
  • Fractional Laplacians and fractional wave transport

For the expression of interest, please contact the workshop coordinators.
